Your tasks stay yours.

1. The short version

DiceDay is local-first and account-free. Everything you create — your task pile, your progress along the trail, your settings — is stored on your device. If you’re signed into iCloud, that data syncs through your own private iCloud account so it reaches your other devices, your widget, and your Apple Watch.

• We have no account and no sign-up — no email, no password, no social login.
• We run no backend server that stores your tasks. Codeful cannot see your task content.
• We use no third-party analytics SDKs, no ad SDKs, and no trackers.
• We do not sell or share your data with anyone.

2. No account, no sign-up

You don’t create an account to use DiceDay. There is no email address, no password, and no social login. You open the app and start using it. Because there is no account, there is no profile for us to hold, and no credentials for us to store or lose.

3. What data exists, and where it lives

The only meaningful data in DiceDay is the content you create. It is stored on your device using Apple’s on-device database (SwiftData).

What we do not collect: we do not collect your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or health data. We do not assign you an advertising identifier, and we do not perform cross-app tracking. We do not use your tasks to train any AI model.

4. iCloud sync

If you are signed into iCloud, DiceDay syncs your data through Apple’s CloudKit private database, in the container iCloud.app.codeful.diceday. This is your iCloud — the same place your other personal data lives. It exists so your pile, progress, widget, and Watch stay in sync across your devices.

• The synced data lives in your iCloud account, not on Codeful’s servers.
• Codeful cannot read the contents of your CloudKit private database. We have no server that receives or stores your tasks.
• If you don’t want to sync, you can turn off iCloud for DiceDay in iOS Settings, and your data stays only on the device.

5. Analytics, advertising & tracking

DiceDay contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no trackers. We do not embed Facebook, Google, or any other tracking library. We do not sell or share your data.

The only aggregate statistics we can ever see are Apple’s own App Store Connect / App Analytics — anonymous, app-level numbers (like downloads or crash counts) that Apple provides to every developer. These never include the content of your tasks and never identify you. You can opt out of sharing this analytics with developers in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

6. Notifications

DiceDay offers an optional daily reminder. It is off by default, you grant notification permission yourself, and the reminder is scheduled locally on your device — we do not run a push server and we do not send notifications from our infrastructure. You can turn reminders off at any time in the app or in iOS Settings.

7. Purchases

DiceDay Pro is handled entirely by Apple StoreKit. We never see your payment method or card details. Apple handles billing, renewals, the 7-day free trial, and entitlement state.

• Refunds are issued by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly.
• Restore — “Restore Purchases” in the app brings back any Pro entitlement attached to your Apple ID. Family Sharing is supported.

8. Children

DiceDay is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from children. Because there is no account and no data leaves your own device or iCloud, there is no profile of any user — child or adult — for us to hold. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that concerns you, contact us at support@vibeland.app.

9. Your data & deletion

Because your data lives on your device and in your own iCloud, you are in control of it at all times:

• Delete tasks directly in the app, any time.
• Delete everything — deleting the DiceDay app from your device, and turning off iCloud sync, removes the data.
• Manage the iCloud copy — you control it from iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage, where you can review and delete DiceDay’s iCloud data.

Codeful holds no separate copy of your data to delete, because we never received one. If you have EU/UK (GDPR), California (CCPA), or Korean (PIPA) data-protection questions, write to us — but in practice, the controls above put deletion entirely in your hands.

10. Security

Your data is protected by your device’s encryption and, when synced, by Apple’s iCloud / CloudKit security in your private database (encrypted in transit and at rest). Because we run no server that stores your tasks, there is no central database of user content to breach. No system is perfect — if you have a concern, please contact us.

11. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, except where the data-protection laws of your country grant you additional, non-waivable rights (in which case those apply).

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date, and surfaced in the app where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
